Occasionally I am asked by various people if I know of a good place to get vinyl records pressed up at. In most cases I have to check with a couple of different people to find out what they know to pass on the info. Well I have decided to simplify the process and just create a page with all of the info on my website. Let me give you my disclaimer now though.

There is a lot of good info here but it is up to you to weed through it to find what you want. All of the info provided on this page came from friends of mine who recommended various companies. I have no personal experience with any of these companies though. I am merely providing a base with some info. It is up to anyone that takes content from here to take it upon themselves to do the research neccesary to find a good company to perform this service for them.

"Right now I only go direct to Rainbo. http://www.rainborecords.com This is because all the brokers are doing the same, so I prefer to deal with a Rainbo rep directly. They are based in Santa Monica. I suggest only three (four is absolute max) pressings of the master for quality purposes. The first pressing is always most expensive as the price of the plate is included in the first bill. Always get a test press and try it at your friend's nightclub!"
